Maths
About This Site
A space to share material related to my mathematics studies, research topics, and various areas of scientific interest. This site is a combination of my academic pursuits and my passion for science communication and the beauty of mathematics in general.

Inspiration

This Maths site was born in the (virtual) classrooms of the University of New England, where I studied SCI 395. The interest I gained there, in collating and communicating mathematical concepts, generated much of the material that started this site.

Aim

Essentially I got excited by the idea of making Maths more accessible. There are some great text books out there, on many topics but many of them are expensive - most of them are not interactive or animated. And the material is often dry, and hard to cross reference. Or it's so brief in nature - more aimed at reminding those who already understand a topic than teaching someone who doesn't.
The core aim of this site is to provide an accessible resource for fellow enthusiasts, students, and anyone curious about the topics covered here.

Future Plans
I'm hoping to build this site out, casually, over time - and see what comes of it. My process for doing this is, as yet, somewhat undefined - and will depend greatly on the topics I cover in further study at university - and where my research efforts take me.
